I have known Shane and Kristen for a few years now. When I still lived in Texas Kristen reached out and asked me if I would be interested in photographing their wedding. I said “Absolutely!”

Tell me about you two as a couple. How did you meet, How did the proposal go? Favorite thing about each other, Etc.

Shane and I met in high school in 2010. Shane FINALLY proposed to me in January 2021(very funny story). The night of the proposal, we decided to go ride backroads (our favorite past time other than golf). We were ready to head back on when the song Better Together by Luke Combs came on. Shane told me to pull over, the next spot I found was the dump on Mt Carmel Road in Decaturville, so I pulled over and he told me to get out. It had started snowing and I thought maybe he just wants to dance. When I got out, he stood there for a minute speechless, when finally he got down on his knee and asked me the question I have been waiting on for YEARS!!
